Very expected game when 8th rankedUSK Praha (8-19) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Brno (18-9) 83-70 on Thursday. Brno outrebounded USK Praha 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Brown (211-1999, college: Memphis) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. The former international point guard Richard Balint (192-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Brno's coach Martin Vanek used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian guard Jaden Campbell (195-2000, college: Samford) produced 15 points and forward Dalibor Vlk (202-2002) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Brno moved-up to second place, which they share with Opava and Srsni Pisek. USK Praha lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 19 games lost. Brno will meet at home league's leader Nymburk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. USK Praha will play against Usti n/Labem (#5) and hope to secure a win.
